A True-Up service is a special form of a License- or SAM Review and relates to Microsoft agreements (EA, EAS and OVS). These business agreements do not always contain all Microsoft products. Therefor our True-Up services encompass all Microsoft products the customer has in use.

The customer will get assistance in preparing for the upcoming True-Up. Ideally the True-Up service starts three to six months before the True-Up is due (agreement anniversary date). MAP License will work with the customer to analyze what Microsoft products have been deployed and match this to their Microsoft licenses.

A license reconciliation report can be used to make a more accurate and informed decision during True-Up time.

MAP License will ensure that the customer has the necessary knowledge about the obligations and benefits of the agreements (e.g. Software Assurance benefits like Home Use and Learning vouchers). We also provide recommendations how to improve the internal routines and practices concerning the True-Up.
