A review of the customer's use of software products compared to the licenses the customer owns.

A customer friendly alternative to a formal audit that gives the customer and the software vendor reassurance that the customer gets correctly licensed. Customer surveys show that a License Review not necessarily will lead to a lower customer satisfaction score but even can lead to better results. Explaining to the customer the benefits of SAM, providing the customer with license advice and recommendations and how to improve SAM practices are the main drivers for this.

MAP License will work with the customer to create a correct inventory of Microsoft products in use. We will help the customer to create a license status based on the licenses that are bought and rented on their different agreements. The deliverable from this cooperation with the customer is a report showing software usage reconciled against license entitlements.

Dependent on the size and complexity of the customer, the geographical spread and the scope of the review the engagement can be done via phone, mail, conference calls and on-site visits.
